1.3 - Growing up

Beth still didn't had enough time to care about Mike. 

 

"I can't wait to be an adult...so I can do what I want and take care of myself..."

 Meanwhile, Beth's computer broke, so she decided to hire a repairman, because she didn't had enough time to fix it for herself.

 

She had a really good time with the repairman(girl), so Mike was pretty upset. Her mother didn't cared about him, but had enough time to chat with a stranger...so he called his new friend, Davon. 

He knew it's gonna be a long-term friendship. They were soulmates. 

 

While he had great time with Davon, Mike continued working on his paintings. After all therese years, he finally won a competition. But when he tried to tell his mother (he even made a picture for her), she was too busy. 

So he went and told his best friend about his success...

 

 Mike's birthday was close so Beth figured it's time to step up as a Mom and bake a cake for his son. 

 

Then she invited a few people for Mike's birthday party

 

She even hired a mixologist and a DJ. She made sure they'll have a great time. 

 

"Time to blow out the candles and make a wish!"

 

 

 They had a really good time and surprisingly enjoyed Beth's birthday cake...she's not the best cook in the town, we know..

But then someone uninvited appeared at the front door

 

Beth noticed him and yelled at him. 

 Why are you here? It's my son's birthday!

 

"Our son's birthday! Yes, I know it! Now back off and let me meet my boy."

 

Beth thought it's just a joke, but when she saw them hugging, she lost is. 

 

After a bad fight she sent him away.

But everything changed. 

At least Mike had a great time. As a birthday surprise, he got a new room: 

 

Then his best friend (long-time crush) arrived 

 

"Devon! You finally made it here!"

 

"I'm so happy, let"s take a selfie!"

 And you can tell, these two have something going on..
