1.1 - Unexpected turn

Here we go, let's see what happened with Beth.

After her cooking disaster, she decided to stop cooking for a little bit. And because she just finished her first book, she tought it's a good idea to go out and have a few drinks.

 

 After only 2 drinks she had a really good time...

 

And when she asked for another drink, she noticed someone next to her...

 She didn't hesitated and invited him to hang out at her house. 

 

 Not sure if because of the drinks or the guy's charm, but she decided to give it a go. A one night stand? Why not. She needed this badly. Every experience is a good experience if you need ideas for your new book! 

Hours passed and the thing finally happened between them. Beth never felt so good. 

 

But Beth never thought he would be good for her. They had nothing in common. She just needed a one night stand so she said goodbye to the guy and went to sleep. She decided to continue her new book tomorrow. 

When she woke up, she felt pretty sick. "Maybe it's the hangover? This is how it feels?" - She thought. 

After a little vomiting seession, she decided it's time to clean the toilet and go back to work. "I can't wait to have enough money to hire a maid". 

 

 Then she went back to writing and reading, thinking about a promotion and a successful book. 

 

Weeks passed, but she never felt too great. So even if she never had this in mind, she said it's time for a pregnancy test. 

She smiled and cried at the same time. The test was positive. 

She decided to NOT tell the father. Just continue working and have the baby. Bad timing, but she tried to look at the bright side. She always wanted a kid. 

Who needs a man, when I can fix things myself?

 

Maybe because of the pregnancy hormones, but when she had a walk in the park, she noticed a good looking man and immediately went after him..
